The new funding announcement by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action lists a number of concrete issues to be researched, all on the basis of the 8th Energy Research Programme. These include technologies for the expansion of renewables or building a hydrogen industry. This trade fair is considered the world’s leading meeting ground for the solar industry and its partners. Windeck comprehensive school from North Rhine-Westphalia has won the federal energy efficiency championship competition, leaving more than 440 other participants behind. Silver and bronze were awarded to schools in Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. Federal Minister Robert Habeck, patron of the competition, awarded prizes to a total of 16 schools from all German Länder and gave out two special awards at the ceremony at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
