Philipp Nimmermann has recently been appointed State Secretary to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. With his background as an economist (he holds a doctoral degree) and former roles as a State Secretary in the state governments of Schleswig-Holstein and Hesse, he brings considerable political and public sector expertise to the table.

Since 1 June, a new online tool provided by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action has allowed landlords and tenants to calculate and distribute carbon costs. The result can be used for one’s own information or for preparing a utility bill. Find out more
