New funding support for heating systems – now for everyone
As autumn begins, the last group of applicants has become eligible to receive the assistance. This means that companies, owners of rented-out single-family houses and condominium owners’ associations are also permitted to apply for the funding, so that investment grants from the KfW are now available for all buildings – both residential and non-residential – where a climate-friendly heating system is to be installed, or which are to be connected to a heat or building network.
Up to 70% grant with a speed and income bonus
On top of this, since February 2024 owner-occupiers have been able to obtain a speed bonus and an income bonus, amounting to a total grant of up to 70% where all the conditions are met.
The funding for this programme is sourced from the Federation’s Climate and Transformation Fund.
