More photovoltaics production in Germany again?
Until 2011, the photovoltaics industry in Germany was very successful. Today, most solar cells come from the Far East. This is to change again – not least with the backing of research projects and other funding measures. Some companies which are benefiting from the research funding provided by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action are already manufacturing successfully in Germany, and have consciously opted to base their operation here.
