A group of German electricity experts travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in early March. The three-day visit took place under the German-UAE energy partnership. The UAE wants to overhaul and optimise its energy system and increase the share of renewables to 44 per cent by 2050 (further information in German only). Find out more
