Who’ll be the 2024 energy-saving champion?
School students from all over Germany are promoting climate action in very diverse, create and efficient ways. Through their activities, they motivate other young people to join in. They are planting trees, singing rap songs about the best heating hacks in front of an audience, or getting together to organise an environmental trade show. And those are just some of many brilliant ideas for projects! For the 16th time now, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the co2online non-profit consultancy firm are looking for Germany’s best ideas for climate action in schools.
The 16 prospective winners from all German Länder will receive awards of a total value of €50,000 and patronages by renowned companies and institutions in their respective regions. Each school will receive €2,500 in prize money and have the opportunity to win the federal award and double their prize money. Voting takes place online.
